About Our Company

According to the Small Business Administration survival rates for businesses decline with each passing year. “Seven out of 10 new employer firms survive at least 2 years, half at least 5 years, a third at least 10 years, and a quarter stay in business 15 years or more.”

The primary reasons for business failure are lack of experience, insufficient capital, poor inventory management, competition and low sales just to name a few.(Source: The Do It Yourself Business Book, Gustave Berle). We believe these items are but symptoms of something much deeper. A lack of business financial knowledge is the root cause of the list above. A strong understanding of small business finance will lead to better capital management, improved inventory management, accurate competition assessment and prudent sales forecasts. With this in mind Excellent Ones Consulting LLC was formed “to equip every small business with the financial knowledge and tools necessary to promote growth.”

We deliver custom one-on-one and group workshops for small businesses on topics like: cash flow analysis, forecasting, financial models, financial data analysis and dashboards to name a few. Each class features real life business cases, financial principles typically available in an MBA program and hands-on exercises with Microsoft Excel. In addition to training our projects include developing custom dashboards, financial models and financial statements for business plans.
