In many instances figures developed in Excel contain trailing digits after the decimal point. In some cases only the integer is needed. Excel has a function called INT which can be used to eliminate these trailing digits. Below are brief steps on how to use this function.

1. Above is a number which goes out the third decimal place

2. Type in the = INT(Cell Address) (ex. Int(B2)

3. Right away the integer of data point has been derived
